The men’s boutique at Three on the Bund was conceived as a large, wooden box insertion that drew inspiration from pyramidal platforms, stage sets and fashion catwalks. The box is carved in relief creating a different experience depending on where the viewer is standing. The solidity of the box is contradicted around its exterior where the use of mirrors dissolves the horizontal and vertical surfaces. A large staircase fronts the side of the box that faces the street, creating a multi-tiered display stage that leads up to the sales area on the mezzanine level.
