In celebration of the 23rd Brand Jordan shoe, we constructed a spatially layered temple landscape within 706 dedicated to the life and career of Michael Jordan both through the constructs of reverence and procession as well as his jersey number 23.

The space was divided horizontally with a massive, manipulated, upwardly curving basketball court. The upper side displayed an exhibition of Michael Jordan’s career performances and accomplishments. The bottom side, painted black, gave a more intimate experience of Jordan’s heart and mind displaying his motivations and work ethic. The spatial experience culminated in a twisted Brand Jordan shoe chandelier where the paths of 22 shoes intertwined downwards to lead to the final shoe (number 23) in the Brand Jordan series.
