Set within a beautiful un-spoil natural gorge our studio was faced with a problem of building a series of large villas + other associated Hotel and Spa programs. Our solution was to create a series of ‘ non-architectural’ interventions, where the ‘mass’ of the hotel was literally carved into the cliff face creating a seamless continuity between form and landscape and then crowned by the traditional.
