In conjunction with Zheng Yifei, the project consisted of the regeneration and revitalization of an existing urban block threatened by the bulldozers into a mixed use ‘lifestyle’ hub of bars, cafes and small retail units.
The project consisted of layering organically over the existing Linong housing the new programs, which resulted in a hybrid identity of form, function, domesticity and commercial aspiration.
